Impact of western filmsand Satellite Television on the Socio-cultural Conditionof Africa: the Case in Ethiopia

The main objective of the study is to assess the impact of western films and on the socio cultural condition of Ethiopian Youths. Teenagers are vital segment of the society in African cultures. The attitude and way of life of the youngsters in African societies have been terribly influenced by vulnerability to western movies. The researcher used a longitudinal study using a questionnaire tools for the purposively selected locales. The study applied qualitative and quantitative research methods.
