The present study was aimed to unveil the relationship between the mental health and the emotional social intelligence among higher secondary school students. A sample of 300 students was drawn adopting simple random sampling technique from higher secondary schools of Vellore district of Tamilnadu. Normative survey technique was utilizedto gatherthe information. Analysis was carried out by employing ‘t’-test and Pearson's Product Moment Co-efficient of correlation were used for finding the significance of means and relationship between dependent and independent variables. The findings of the study revealed that there was a significant relationship between higher secondary school students' mental health and their social intelligence.
