Awareness and Utilization of information and communication technology (ICT) based resources and services among the faculty in self financing medical college libraries in pondicherry: A survey

Abstract

The study explores the status of ICT infrastructure facilities available in self financing medical college libraries in Puducherry. It also presents the results of awareness and utilization of ICT based resources and services of these libraries among the Faculties from seven medical colleges. A total of 150 respondents were studied using stratified random sampling technique. The result revealed that a plenty of resources and services was found in medical libraries and these resources were utilized optimally by majority of the respondents.
