Information and Communications Technology (ICT) is an umbrella term that includes any communication device or application like radio, television, mobile phones, computer and network hardware and software, satellite systems and so on, as well as the various services and applications associated with them, such as videoconferencing and distance learning. The basic aim of this paper is to highlight how much libraries have advanced with the advent of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) based products & services. This study also presents how conventional Library and Information Services (LIS) can be delivered more efficiently and effectively by using Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
