In the present information era there is a steady transition from the traditional libraries print media to the digital resources, with the advent of ICT, engineering domains in various forms play an imperative role in environmental approach for libraries for sustainability and accessibility of digital resources. This paper highlights on how digital libraries are having a friendly approach in managing digital resources and how the technology helps to the environment.
