Food Chemistry: A Bibliometric Analysis of Publications Output during 2004–2013

Abstract

This study is the bibliometric analysis of Food Chemistry related search. The documents studies were retrieved from the Scopus database for the period from 2004 to 2013 The analysis cover year wise distribution, document type, authorship pattern, citation analysis and country wise distribution and etc. The findings of the study revealed that totally 2526 authors have contributed to 603 publications during the period 2004–2013. Four authored articles are found to be the highest followed by three and single authored articles. The most productive Journal is Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry with 166 papers.
