Google Scholar and Scopus database: A Study on Gandhigram Rural Institute Research Productivity

Citation is very important criteria for measuring impact factor for the articles published in a journal. This paper made a sample study on receiving alert from Google Scholar and Scopus database. The data for the study has been for the period 2013 and 2014 on faculty publications from Gandhigram Rural Institute. It is almost retrieved all the publications with leading publishing houses in the world. The paper is analysis criteria such as number of publications, subject wise, authors and author collaborated country wise.
