This paper deals with libraries going green starting from the green buildings to recycling of waste, small steps of going green will have a good impact on the image of the library, the concept of reduce, reuse and recycle would be the aim for libraries going green. The concern of green libraries is to reduce the environmental impact and to become an environmental friendly library.
