Impact of the role of services rendered by university libraries linked the librarian's profession into the new knowledge society

The University libraries with traditional trend are changed into hybrid centres with print and electronic forms. Moreover, the roles of the University libraries transformed in becoming ‘Knowledge Resource Centres" to keep stepswith improvements in technology.

This paper explains how the librarian's profession is linked to the core of the information and knowledge societyby the impact of role of library services in the Knowledge Resource Centres of the University. It also explains that to enter into the knowledge society, the librarian should take training in all the fields and should update himself.
