Implemetation of koha: An experience

Computer and communication technology rapidly affected every sphere of life. Library is not an exemption. It forced the librarian to adapt the changing environment and the use of the technology to deliver prompt and adequate services to the users. Automating a library is a unique decision that makes the library activities easy for prompt service delivery to the user. Every client expects quick response to requests as well as easy access to information. Librarians facing the problems with use of preparatory library management system software for automation of library to manage library routine activities for years, such as poor support, limited flexibility, lack of interest in new developments, as well as the high cost of the initial implementation, AMC etc.
