Indian Repository Services: A Study on Shodhganga

Being the third largest education system in the world, India has many reputed education institutions and very good infrastructure for higher education and research. The access of research information is a big challenge for the research scholars in the developing countries. The Shodhganga-a repository of Indian theses and dissertations plays a vital role in making the research outputs of Indian Universities online in well organized way. This article studies participation of Indian Universities in the construction of the Shodganga repository, contents and usage analysis of the resources.
