Abstract

Mobile phone has revolutionized the daily of ordinary people. The application of telecommunication to an automated library system can bring more efficiency to library service. Libraries can better serve their users by embracing the growing capacities of mobile technology. They can promote and expand their existing services by offering mobile access to their websites and online public access catalogs. The libraries should be redesigned to accommodate the changing needs of the users. Mobile library services can meet people's need for information in a fast-paced society.
