This article gives insights into National shared services in India. Here in this paper it is discussed about the changing paradigm of library and information science and vital role played by INFLIBNET Center, UGC Infonet Consortium & N-List programme. Main goal of the National shared services is to bridge the gap between library services and digital natives expectations in E-society.
