Scientometric analysis of 1118 research articles published in "THE NEW ENGLAND JOURNAL OF MEDICINE" of the year 2000 has been carried out. 2 volumes of journals containing 52 issues have been taken into consideration for the present study. The aim of this study to identify year wise distribution, volume-wise distribution, authorship pattern ranking of authorship pattern and degree of collaboration.
