An investigation was carried out to study the fertility status of coastal soils of Pedapuluguvaripalem village of Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh. The pH of the soils varied from 7.0 to 8.8 in surface and 8.1 to 9.2 in sub surface. EC values of 0.30 to 19.25 dS m−1 were observed in different locations. The soils were found to be low to medium in OC (0.08 to 0.66%), low in nitrogen (59 to 250 kg ha−1), medium in phosphorus (10.26 to 113.35 kg ha−1) and high in potassium (219 to 1380 kg ha−1). The soils were sufficient in micronutrients except zinc.
