Before I start with my review, I must point out the fact that I knew very little about either the Communist Movement or capitalism before I read the communist manifesto authored by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. It must have been my curiosity to comprehensively understand both these principles and explicitly study about communist ideologies which are widely regarded throughout the world as a taboo and a social evil, that I chose to step out of my comfort zone and try to review this manifesto about which I had very minimal prior knowledge about. And I must say, after thoroughly going through the manifesto, very little does the layman know or understand about communist ideologies. Communism is often very misunderstood and looked upon as a social evil. This may be mainly because after the fall of the erstwhile USSR and the fact that it having been a failed communist state the public in general might have rejected communism as a whole without understanding their philosophy and aims thoroughly.
