Noise Cancellation Using Low Pass FIR Adaptive Filter by LMS Algorithm

Abstract

In this paper, the main aim is to reduce the unwanted background noise which makes it possible to the people to hear the noise clearly without any disturbance whether they receive a call in noisy place. This paper is to simulate an adaptive filter by using LMS algorithm, which is implementing on MATLAB software. In this paper, we are cancelling the corrupted noise signals which are unpleasant for all mobile technology. A signal containing information during the process of communication but in the process of signal some noise is added in signal and this signal becomes noisy. For cancelling of corrupted noise signal, we need the adaptive filtering to remove this type of unwanted signal. In this paper, the primary input containing the corrupted signal and reference input containing noise.
