Encryption is one of the most complex and time consuming technique. There are many cases where we have to convert our important data in encrypted form so that we can easily transfer the data without the fear of hacking or accessed by the third party. Hence we use encryption algorithms to encrypt our data so that only the intented user can decrypt it and can read the important information. In this paper to encrypt the data we will use Advanced ADFGVX Cipher: Random-9 character product cipher. The Advanced ADFGVX product cipher is used to produce a new cipher based on 9x9 matrix, two keys (one for substitution and other for transposition). This is called product cipher because it is a combination of substitution and transposition. The comparison between the encryption time of Advanced ADFGVX cipher with other algorithms is also presented in this paper. Algorithms are also compared on the basis of throughput.
