The availability of biomass in India is about 120–150 million MT per annum corresponding to potential of 16, 000 MW. Multifuel fired biomass boiler design will enable latest technology up gradation in biomass and will have many advantages. This paper deals with technology analysis and multifuel fired biomass boiler design.
