The data with respect to productive traits (milk yield, lactation length, test day peak yield and days to attain test peak yield and fat percentage) as well as reproductive traits (age at first lambing, lambing interval, service period and dry period) were recorded on Sonadi sheep in their native tract. The milk yield was recorded fortnightly and total milk production was projected by data centring method. The least-squares analysis of variance was employed to study the effect of districts and parity on the productive and reproductive traits. The overall leastsquares means for milk yield, lactation length, test day peak yield and days to attain test peak yield were 29.80±0.72 kg, 187.70±2.97 days, 237.65±5.93 kg and 63.92±2.25 days, respectively. The effect of district was found to be significant (P<0.01) on all the productive traits whereas, parity had significant effect on milk yield (P<0.01), test day peak yield (P<0.01) and days to attain test peak yield (P<0.05). The overall least-squares means for age at first lambing, lambing interval, service period and dry period were 709.67±8.38, 275.08±4.22, 124.98±4.22 and 93.65±3.83 days, respectively. The variation due to district was significant (P<0.01) on age at first lambing and dry period and non-significant on other traits.
