The present study was undertaken to study the effect of non-genetic factors on growth performance of Madgyal sheep. Year of birth had highly significant effect on first and three to twelve months body weight and non-significant effect at birth and second month body weight. Season of birth showed non-significant effect on body weight. However, sex had highly significant effect on body weight at each stage of growth.
