Abstract

A survey was conducted to relate lambing pattern and sex ratio in Sonadi sheep in its home tract. It was observed that the two lambing seasons of Sonadi sheep are from September to October and from December to January. The lambing rate was higher in Bhilwara (98.3 %) followed by Chittorgarh (88.3 %), Udaipur (75.6 %) and Rajsamand (61.7%) districts and the overall sex ratio of male and female was 50:50.
