Impact of vocational training on the attitude and skill of Shepherds

The present investigation was undertaken to study the impact of vocational training on attitude and skill of shepherds for scientific sheep husbandry practices in the Barmer district of Western Rajasthan. The study revealed that vocational training has significant effect on the skill of farmers related to sheep nutrition, management, breeding, disease control measures and marketing. There was also a significant impact of training on their attitude for improved sheep enterprise.
