The present study was aimed to estimate the cation and enzyme profile in the neat semen of Chottanagpuri rams. The overall mean value of sodium and potassium in seminal plasma were found to be 104.183±0.849 and 24.618±0.590 mEq/L, respectively. The variation in the levels of Na and K differed significantly among the rams. The overall mean AST, ALT, AKP and LDH activities in the seminal plasma were 39.60±3.011 IU/L, 40.254±2.736 IU/L, 735.972±6.762 IU/L and 577.766±38.502 IU/L.
