Abstract

The ethnoveterinary practices followed by the sheep farmers of the North coastal zone of Andhra Pradesh in the treatment of symptoms / diseases were documented. The success rate of treatment ranged between 20 to 80%. However, the scientific basis and active ingredients present in the above prescriptions need to be explored.
