Field data pertaining to body weights and body measurements at 1,3,6,9 and 12 months of age of Sangamneri goats were collected for the year 2004–2007 from its home tract. The least squares means for bodyweights at 1, 3, 6, 9 and 12 months of age were 5.09±0.03, 9.18±0.05, 14.05±0.12, 19.10±0.26 and 22.38±0.36 kg, respectively. Majority of the traits were significantly affected by year of birth, season of birth, sex and type of birth. The phenotypic correlations among body weight and body measurements were positive and significant (P<0.01). The regression equation can be effectively used for prediction of body weight from body measurements.
