Abstract

The hematological and biochemical parameters like haemoglobin concentration (Hb), packed cell volume (PCV), total serum protein (TSP), serum albumin (SA), serum globulin (SG), serum alkaline phosphatase (ALP) and serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT) activity were studied in does and kids of Black Bengal goat to know the effect of natural haemonchosis on these traits. The average values of different groups for each of these parameters were statistically non-significant (P>0.05). Age and sex did not have any significant effect on the variation of indicator parameters in Black Bengal kids.
