Effect of trees on the yield of range grasses and vice versa

The Cenchrus setigerus produced the maximum biomass production, while minimum grass production was recorded in Panicum antidotala throughout the experiment period. The maximum number of saplings of Prosopis cinararia and Acacia nilotica survived. The least survival was in Alianthus exelsa. Albezzia lebback gave highest height and collar diameter. Minimum collar diameter and height were in Prosopis cinararia.
