Abstract

In the present study, soluble bluetongue virus antigen was prepared from Baby Hamster Kidney-21 (BHK-21) adapted bluetongue virus Serotype 1 using ammonium sulphate precipitations. A total of 192 serum samples of adult, non-descript sheep from Delhi were tested by agar gel immunodiffusion test (AGID). Overall 5.21% sheep tested positive on AGID.
