Abstract

A total of 50 goat farmers of two adopted villages were interviewed for the study. Majority of the goat farmers were landless, illiterate, belonging to old age group with small family size and income. Most of them had small flock and followed grazing based feeding system. Availability of improved buck was the most important constraint followed by lack of grazing land and quality drinking water.
