A study was designed to determine haemato-biochemical profile following daily intramuscular administration of cefquinome (@2.0 mg/kg b.wt.) along with tolfenamic acid (@2.0 mg/kg b.wt.) for 5 days in sheep. The mean values of any of hematological and serum biochemical parameters did not alter significantly following daily intramuscular administrations of both drugs in comparison to the corresponding control values (day 0). Thus, daily intramuscular administrations of cefquinome with tolfenamic acid were well tolerated in sheep and cefquinome may be useful in combination with tolfenamic acid to treat bacterial diseases accompanied by inflammatory condition in sheep.
