The growth performance of Nellore Jodipi sheep maintained at Livestock Research Station Palamaner, Andhra Pradesh for three years viz., 2013–14, 2014–2015 and 2015–16 were studied with year and sex as fixed effects. The overall least squares means of body weights at birth, three, six, nine and 12 months of age were 3.10±0.01, 14.20±0.10, 19.33±0.18, 23.16±0.36 and 27.41±0.18 kg, respectively. Year of birth and sex of animal had significant effect (P<0.01) on body weights at all the stages. The overall least square means of average daily gains at birth to 3, 3–6, 6–9 and 9–12 months were 123.62±1.17, 50.30±1.31, 33.67±1.93 and 20.41±0.94 g, respectively. Year of birth had significant (P<0.01) influence on average daily gain at all the stages. Sex had highly significant effect (P<0.01) on average daily gain at allstagesexceptduring6-9 monthsof age.
