A study was conducted on reproduction data spread over 18 years on 1404 Alpine x Beetal; 695 Saanen x Beetal; 241 Alpine x Saanen Beetal and 260 Saanen x Alpine Beetal crossbred goats maintained under stallfed condition at National Dairy Research Institute, Kamal. The traits studied were: number of services per conception, gestation length, litter size at birth, litter born in lifetime, does conceived at 1st, 2nd and more than 2 services, conception rate on the basis of does available and does bred, kidding percent on the basis of does available and does bred and fertility percent. Statistical analysis revealed that genetic group. significantly (p<0.01) influenced number of services per conception, kids born in lifetime, does pregnant at Ist and 2nd service, conception rate on the basis of does available and bred. Parity significantly (P<0.01) affected litter size at birth. The least-squares means for various reproduction and fertility performance traits were: No. of services per conception 1.29±0.03, service period 178.88±9.99, gestation length 151.45±6.63, litter size at birth 1.65±0.02, kids born in life time 3.04±0.13, does pregnant at 1st service 78.52±1.17, 2nd service 16.43±0.01 and more than 2 services 5.05±0.71, does bred 69.68±1.93, kidding percent on the basis of does available 51.98±2.11 and does bred 67.08±1.91 and fertility percent 94.07±1.74. It was concluded that better reproductive management is necessary to obtain higher conception rate under stallfed condition.
