Clinical trials with closantel against ecto and endoparasites of kids and lambs

Closantel @ 10 mg/kg body wt. was effective in eliminating helminitic parasites in kids infected with strongylus sp. treated animals showed marked improvement in general health through reduced severity of clinical signs and weight loss without any mortality. Similarly, lice infestation was effectively controlled in lambs without any side effects.
