Data recorded on lambing rates, twinning rates, abortions and still births for the period 1979 to 1988 on 6650 ewes of the Sheep Breeding Farm, Reasi (SBF1) and 1932 ewes of the Sheep Breeding, Farm, Billawar (SBF2) were analysed to find breeding efficiency and reproductive losses in the Rambouillet sheep. The overall lambing on ewes bred and ewes available at the lambing basis, twinning, abortion and still birth rates at the two farms were 80.60% vs 75.41%, 83.54% vs 78.63%, 4.86% vs 3.84%, 3.32% vs 3.63%, 2.61% vs 2.89%, respectively. The farm did not produce significant effect on any of these traits, however the year was pronouncing tangible influence on the all traits at both the farms but on rate of the still birth only at SBF2.
