Abstract

Mortality is an important factor of population change. The study of mortality is useful for analyzing the current conditions. In this paper, an attempt has been made to evaluate the current mortality measures such as CDR, IMR, ASMR etc. for an urban population through analysis of data obtained on mortality survey of 500 sample urban house holds.
