Abstract

We investigate the locally rotationally symmetric (LRS) Bianchi type I cosmological model with gravitational term proportional to R−n (R is the scale factor and n is a positive constant). The gravitational term decrease with time. We obtain that the present universe is accelerating with large fraction of cosmological density in the form of a cosmological term.
