The present paper deals with the medicinal usage of reptiles as parctised by the tribals of Orissa, covering 5 districts namely-Dhenkanal, Kendujhar, Sambhalpur, Sundargarh and Mayurbhanj. The species of reptiles numbering 8, may be treated as new record for medicinal usage, so for the important literatures have been consulted.
