Several distributional properties of lower record values of the Inverse Rayleigh distribution are discussed. The single and product moments of lower record value of the Inverse Rayleigh distribution are obtained. Estimation of the parameters of Inverse Rayleigh distribution, based on a series of observed record values by maximum likelihood method and moment methods are presented.
