Out Performance Intervals of Weights for Composite Estimators

We consider the class of composite estimators for estimating the population mean for small domains of the form direct ratio vs. synthetic ratio and simple direct vs. synthetic ratio composite estimator and obtained the sensible interval of involved weights in the form of better performance interval of the weights with a view to retaining superiority for the different composite estimators over their either components. In addition we have shown a numerical illustration and discuss the case of simple direct vs. synthetic ratio composite estimator for our purpose.
