Girl Child Exploitation At Workplace: A Study Of Effects For The Abolition Of The Social Evil

Abstract

Child labour in India is an active issue and still many children are devoid of education and basic amenities children should be given proper chance to prosper in their life. Child labour may be explained as economically active children from the age group of 5–15. This issue has been taking one of the centres a point of debate and much debates has also formed about the definition of child labour. It has also been a problem that children‘s work is going invisible and it could get a bit better by time use survey. Children are being sexually exploited especially female children. A wide range of social actors especially nongovernmental organizations are focusing on such issues and acting on variety of ways to curb down these issues of girl child sexual exploitation in work place. The third world countries have been specially affected by this problem. This paper discusses the problems faced the girl child labour when they are sexually exploited and the future effect in their life. The paper will show the differences in ideology and practice of our society which needs to be transformed accordingly. The realistic concept to let the children grow in a proper environment has to take pace with more awareness from a grass root level. This paper will rethink about some of the important questions about girl child development without being sexually exploited at workplace and will bring to a close with a common matching ground of theory and practice in recommendations. This issue needs proper concentration as without this, problems will be more aggravated in future.
