Abstract

A number of research works have already been done in this field, most of them analysed women empowerment in the socio economic point of view, rather than analysing their decision making power towards living situations. While some studies argued women experience increased dependence on other and therefore may become disempowered as a results of migration of family members. Here the study also drawn from such an assumption that male migration has brought changes on women's role. To examine the impact, a micro level analysis is important as it can bring comprehensible ideas on it.
