The Hall Effect setup is used to determine the concentration and type of charge carriers in semiconductor material and also mobility of charge carriers are determined using this experiment. In this paper, different types of semiconducting material (Ge, Au, Al and Cu) with various thicknesses to measure the carrier concentration and mobility of its charge carriers are studied and also studied how the changes take place by varying the thickness of these materials. The experimental data collection can be done in several ways and results obtained are shown in Table 11. I have compared the measured experimental values with one another and plotted the graph of Hall Voltage vs. magnetic field and Hall Voltage vs current. After plotting the graph, I have observed Hall Voltage varies linearly with current and magnetic field as shown in graph 2 to 10. During the study, we found that Hall Effect is also used in the measurement of magnetic flux density and power in an electromagnetic wave. Thus, the Hall Effect is one of the effects that revolutionized certain areas of Physics, not only theoretically but also in technological terms, for example, the development of magnetometer.
