Urban areas and cities are central to the Indian economy, but they face a number of economic and environmental challenges. This paper contributes to a new research body which examines the ability of the cargo cycle to make the city more green, free of emissions, and explores ways to promote its diffusion. The paper makes two key contributions. First, it proposes a sustainable urban logistics framework for urban governance, logistics operations and future research to exploit the potential of sustainable urban freight transport using freight cycles. Additionally, it works on the battery so that it is completely free from contaminants. Engineering is one of the main scientific fields of research. The keyword analysis shows that the central theme is mechanical, the battery and the electric motor stand out. Community detection was used to detect the six main clusters of this research, largely dedicated to the following subjects: transport, Environment, Mechanical Engineering, Safety, Batteries and Electrical Engineering. This manuscript shows that global trends in electric bicycle research are increasing and that it should be considered a means of sustainable urban transport and therefore contribute to energy savings and sustainable energy. So, our objective is to design and develop a system called Green Cargo Cycle (GCC).
