Abstract

In the present day, the artificial neural network is becoming the application of each filed. The artificial neural network is a technique or learning process, which is developed from old data sets. The artificial neural network consists of an input layer, hidden layer(s), and an output layer [1]. Artificial neural network and convolutional neural network are known as Artificial Intelligence technology. In this research work, an artificial neural network developed with a different number of hidden layers as well as nodes. The neural network used for the prediction of the permeability of soils. The percentage of fine-grained and sand used as the input parameters of the neural network. From the results of predicted permeability, it has observed that the prediction is affected by the number of hidden layers and nodes [2,3]. For the prediction of permeability, another method is used named regression analysis. The performance of the ANN model is achieved better as compared to MLR model.
