In this paper results of various thermodynamic parameters of a two stage vapor compression refrigeration system of 10kW cooling capacity is presented for evaporator temperature ranging between -30°C to -10°C and condenser temperature ranging between 40°C to 60°C. R143a and R125 are used as refrigerants in this system for comparative analysis as both have almost similar properties where R125 has low GWP compared to R143a. In this study the isentropic efficiency of compressors are taken as a function of pressure ratio. Results of the study are obtained from running the numerical code in EES software and those are plotted in graphs using Origin. It can be observed that in terms of COP and Exergetic Efficiency R143a is a better option and in terms of Maximum Discharge Temperature and Volumetric Cooling Capacity R125 is a better option.
