Abstract

We have investigated the effect of perturbations ε and ε’ in the coriolis and the centrifugal forces respectively in the Photogravitational Restricted Three Body Problem when both the primaries are point masses. It is observed that for L4 and L5, the range of stability increases or decreases depending upon whether the point lies in one or the other of the two parts in which the 3D space (ε, ε’, p) is divided by the plane (p, the radiation parameter) and the stability of the collinear points is not effected by the perturbations in the coriolis and the centrifugal forces and they remain unstable.
