Abstract

A DC-6 GHz MESFET based low insertion loss, compact and broadband DPDT switch has been developed. DPDT switch has been designed by combining two SPDT switch. To have low insertion loss, the switch circuit has one series and one shunt switching element. Fabricated Circuit gives better than 1dB Insertion loss and 29dB Isolation in DC-2GHz and better than 1.1dB Insertion loss and 19dB Isolation in 2-6GHz. Input and on branch return losses are better than 14dB
