Abstract

Neural networks are prominently being used for modeling of devices and systems having nonlinear characteristics. They are good candidates for systems and devices whose mathematical models are difficult to develop but experimental characteristics are known. In this paper a variant of neural network, Generalized Regression Neural Network (GRNN) has been used to model highly nonlinear characteristics of Tunnel diode and excellent performance in terms of accuracy is indicated.
