The unsteady magnetohydrodynamic boundary layer flow and heat transfer past a stretching plate through a porous medium in a viscoelastic incompressible and electrically conducting fluid have been studied. The problem have been solved by using the successive approximation method. We have considered the effects of surface mass transfer, heat transfer from a nonisothermal stretching sheet with thermal relaxation, Alfven velocity and the coefficient of elastic velocity of fluid on the flow in our analysis through graphs.
